Commercial Work undertaken.

Getting my work published.

I have on two occasions now been asked to take a photograph that can be used in a magazine article.

The first one was a golf magazine which was used within the golfing industry, I took a photograph of the person who went round to the different golf clubs he was a former manager of a golf club.  Unfortunately I don't know his title and I don't have any of the articles I can include her.

The second one (see below) was taken of the managing director of Capital and County Insurance Brokers.    Having called in a photographer to take some photographs of key members of staff and photographs around the offices and not being happy with the staff photographs I was asked by the MD if i would be able to take some photographs for them, I happily agreed and having taken studio lights and backdrop etc to work I set about photographing seven members of staff. I am very happy to report that they were pleased with the results and most have used them on their link in networking site as well as them being used on the company website.  David Armstrong also uses his when he writes his articles for the Kent Director.  It was a very proud moment to see this article as I know it will be seen by the Insurance industry and I am able to say I took that photograph.  He has used a different one on his link in site which has got plenty of praise and each time he has told them it was taken 'in house'.  who knows maybe this might lead to some more work.

Photographing weddings

I have recently been asked to photograph a wedding, something that I have done on  a couple of other occasions for people that I know, the best one being my Brother - in -Laws where we all flew to Baltimore for the wedding.  The latest wedding I have done the bridge and groom wanted more of a record of the days events rather than lots of posed photographs,  The groom arrived on a big motor bike which got peoples attention, there was plenty of people about as the wedding was in Rochester just of the High Street in the middle of a Dickens Festival.  I was hoping that some of the characters might be around especially someone like Fagin to use in the photographs but unfortunately it was not to be.

Above are three of the photographs taken on the day, neither of them wanted anything too formal but the groom loved the idea of using the steps to stand on.
